Deceased who was the third son of the late Mr John Simpson was for a period of about 25 years an inhabitant of Guildford, and was of great assistance to his father for many years in his extensive drapery establishment. He was very devoted and attached to his parents and his father's decease in October last brought about a shock from which he never recovered. For the past two years he had lived with them at West Worthing. His illness was only of short duration, for having contracted a bad chill, influenza and pneumonia set in and brought about his premature death. The funeral took place at Heene Church, West Worthing on Monday afternoon, the last mournful rites being performed by Rev. Bland assistant curate.
