Charlotte Catherine Morecroft (nee Nash) was born in 1812 in Wootton Gloucestershire. Her Father worked as a surgeon, but he died young aged just 37 in 1816.
Charlotte married John Johnstone Elton Morecroft on June 3rd 1841 at St. Pauls, Bristol.
They had 4 children-

John Johnstone Morecroft worked as an Attorney at Law, and the family lived at Mill lane, West Derby, Lancashire until 1861
By 1871 Charlotte is living in Newton Abbott, Devon with her 3 Daughters, and her Husband was lodging at Duke Street, St. George, Hanover, Westminster, London
In 1881 Charlotte is living at 15 Robertson Terrace, Hastings, Sussex with just 1 Daughter, Emily. Her husband is staying at 4 Hanover square, Westminster, London, which was a private club.
John Morecroft, Charlotte's Husband died on the 8th May 1888 while staying in Bournemouth.
In 1891 charlotte is visiting Sarah J Blick at Clevedon in Somerset, she is now living on her own means.
Between 1891 and 1892 she moved to Marine Parade Worthing where she died on the 30th October 1892. She left an amount of £85 13s 9d with probate to Arthur Herbert Morecroft.
