D'Arcy Thomas Johnson was born on August 4th, 1875 in Croydon, Surrey to Joseph, a 38 year old, Liverpool born, house decorator and to 31 year old, Fanny Woods from Billingshurst.  He had one brother and four sisters. He died in Worthing in August and was buried in Heene Cemetery, West Worthing, Sussex.
