Life story

Edith was born in Heene, the daughter of James and Anna. She was the grand daughter of Rueben and Frances Guile. Edith was baptised at Heene on 22nd July 1860. The family lived in Brunswick Road (originally, this area was called Little Heene). James worked as a carpenter's labourer. Edith died on 16th January 1874 suffering from acute pulmonary tuberculosis. Her sister Agnes followed her the following January.
