She was baptised in Market Harborough in 1862. Edith was close to her family and lived with two of her sisters Caroline and Marian all her life. By 1871, the family were living in Marylebone at 23 Cavendish Road which was their home until George died in 1921. Elizabeth died in 1907 and the three sisters took over the running of the home for their father. After George died, Marion and Edith spent some time in Australia. They returned home in 1923, giving their address as 21 Dean's Yard, Westminster. Their sister Caroline died at "Caer Gwent" in Worthing in 1927. Between 1930 and 1938, the two sisters lived at 59 Alexandra Road, Hampstead and then in 1939 moved to Worthing, living at 24 St Botolph's Road. Edith died on 8th September 1939. Probate was granted on 26th October to Algernon Fisher member of London Stock Exchange and James Stanley Knapp-Fisher publisher. Effects £1896 2s 10d. Marian died in 1942 and was buried beside her sister. Another relative Marjorie Knapp-Fisher, a niece, lived in Forest Road, Worthing. She was a missionary who worked in South Africa.
