Nadin died Nov 24th 1925 aged 60 R.I.P. Life storyLife storyThe family name is spelt most often in records without the final e. Fanny's parents were William and Sarah Elizabeth, nee Trevett. William was a gardener and his sons Frederick and Frank followed in his footsteps. Curiously, Fanny is clearly recorded as being only 1 year old in 1881 although she would have been 4 and in 1891 is correctly shown as 14 years old. She was still at school then and it is not known what employment she chose in her short life but almost certainly it would have been domestic service. William Steer was with Fanny when she died, aged 23, at 5, Elm Grove, Heene. The cause of death was chronic diarrhoea, probably tubercular and exhaustion.Burial researcher: Angela Levy Further informationBirthDate born: 00/00/1877 DeathDeath (details)Date of death: 22/08/1900Age (at time of death): 23Cause of death: chronic diarrhoea, ‘probably tubercular’ and exhaustionAddress at time of death: 5 Elm Grove, Worthing, Sussex, England Census and miscellaneous informationCensus information1881 census: , Terrace, Lancing William Steer, 37, head, jobbing gardener; Sarah E Steer, 33, wife; Frederick W Steer, 8, son; Frank H Steer, 6, son; Fanny E M Steer,1, daughter;1891 census: 3, Grace Cottages, Lancing William Steer, 48, head, gentlemans gardener; Sarah E Steer, 44, wife; Frederick W Steer, 18, son, market gardener; Frank H Steer, 16, son, under gardener; Fanny E Steer, 14, daughter, scholar; Martha M Steer, 12, daughter, scholar; Emma S K Steer, 8, daughter, scholar; Alice E Steer, 2, daughter; Previous Random burial Next
