Life story

Florence was born in 1888 in Liverpool to Charles Edward Augustus and Sarah Helena Hall (nee Proctor, also known as Helena).

 Florence's Father was a Land Agent and surveyor, and in 1891 the family were living at 34 Hawarden Avenue Toxteth Park in Liverpool. By 1901 the family have moved to 295 Old Chester Road, Birkenhead, Cheshire. Florence's father is still working as a surveyor and Estate agent. In 1911 the family have moved again to 79 Rock Lane, East Rock Ferry, Cheshire. Florence is now aged 22 and is working as a shorthand typist in a Shipping Office. In 1939 Florence and her Sister Beatrice are living with their Mother Helena Hall at 31 Rock Park Birkenhead Cheshire, Helena is now incapacitated. Florence is an Accountant with a chartered Accountant. It is unknown when Florence moved to Worthing but she lived at 50 Manor Road. She died at 20 Reigate road, Worthing, and left £853 (£15000 in 2020) to her Sisters Beatrice and Clara.
