Life story

Life story

When Francis Joseph Collins was born in December 1888 in Worthing, Sussex, his father, Joseph, a fly proprietor from Northamptonshire, was 40 and his mother, Sarah Staveley, was 38. He had one brother and three sisters. The family lived above the stables in Milton Street. Francis was named after Sarah's father. He died at the end of August 1889 and was buried at Heene on 2nd September.
