Life story

Geva Madeline Erridge was born in October 1883 to Frank and Julie Erridge (nee Riddell) in Porlock, Somerset. She was later baptised on the 30th October 1883 also in Porlock. There is no trace of Geva, Frank or Julie from 1883 until 1901 where Geva is then 17 years old. 

In the census, there is no occupation for Geva but her father is a bank manager at the Fox and Fowlers Bank in Lynton, Devon. The family have 3 servants working for them according to the census. In 1911, Geva is 27 years old and still living with her parents and their two servants, presumably at the same bank as in 1901. 

The residential address was not given on the 1911 census. They then had two servants working for them. Not much else is known about Geva from this point up until her death where her probate tells us she moved to Old Wayes, Offington Avenue, Worthing, Sussex and died at the Amatola Nursing Home in Shakespeare Road, Worthing. She was then buried at Heene Cemetery and probate granted to Clothilde Burnett, widow, the effects of £4521 6s 2d.

The Last Will and Testament for Geva Erridge was dated 14th October 1929 and has this signature:
