Life story

Life story

Louise is a bit of a mystery. We know she was born in Lewes, the daughter of Charles and Eliza. Her parents were non-conformists and had her baptised at Lewes Tabernacle on 24th February 1828. Her father died in 1848. In 1851, Louise was a servant in Preston Street, Brighton. By 1881, Louise was a widow and living in Worthing. We are unable to trace a marriage between Bunting and Constable. In 1901, Louisa was living with her nephew George Bunting and his family in Thorn Road. She died on 19th November 1902. No probate.
