Life story

Life story

Mary Ann was born in Dallington, East Sussex to unknown parents. On 31st October 1820, she married Henry Potten a shoemaker from Mayfield. The couple moved to Patching village near Worthing. By 1861, the family were living in Salvington village where Henry worked as a wheelwright and lathe winder. By the time of Henry's death in 1877 , the family were living at 9 Brunswick Road, Worthing. Mary Ann died on 22nd December 1879. No probate.
