Who passed on Dec 30th 1928 after long illness contracted during the war. Also George father of the above and dearly loved husband of Louisa Jarvis who died suddenly December 22nd 1930

Life story

Life story

Reginald was born in Heaton Moor, the son of George and Louisa Jane. He was baptised at St Paul's Church, Heaton Moor on 16th July 1899. His father was a railway agent. In 1918, Reginald trained as an officer cadet at Manchester University. He was promoted to 2nd lieutenant on 27 March 1918 and joined the 2nd London Regiment. When the war was over, Reginald received a disability payment of £30. He lived with his parents after the war, moving with them to Worthing. Reginald, of "Melgarth" Wallace Avenue, Worthing, died at "Amatola" Nursing Home, Shakespeare Road on 30th December 1928. He had been suffering from chronic pulmonary tuberculosis and acute pleurisy. There was no Post Mortem. No Probate.
