Little information available. No record of a William Baker in the Heene area in 1901 Census.

1902 William died in East Preston Workhouse on 3rd September.  His occupation was given as gardener/labourer of Heene. He died of paraplegia and cardiac failure. Burial conducted by Asst. priest Mr Lascelles on 6th Sep. Nothing recorded in the local newspapers.
