Life story

Ann Kate Poland was born in March 1873 in Worthing, Sussex. Her father, Edward, was a Beer house keeper and her mother was Martha Mitchell. She had five brothers and three sisters and died aged 2 in June 1875. She was buried in Heene Cemetery. Her parents and several of her siblings are also buried in the cemetery.
