Life story

Edwin Miles was born in Worthing in October 1902. His father, John, was a fruit grower from Brighton and his mother, Caroline Hannah Lucas was from Portslade. He had six brothers and four sisters. He died aged one in March 1904 and was buried in Heene Cemetery, Sussex. Three of his siblings; Winifred, Albert and Christopher, also died in infancy and were buried in Heene.
