Life story

Ellen Mary Catherine Limber Linnell was born in 1890 in Horsham, Sussex and baptised in Heene on 1st June 1890. Her father, John Henry Linnell, a farmer, was 29, and her mother, Ellen Amelia Blann, a dressmaker, was 26. She had five brothers and two sisters. She died in February 1891 in Worthing, Sussex, aged 11 months and was buried in Heene Cemetery on 14th February 1891.

Ellen's grandparents, Albert and Alice, are also buried in the cemetery.

Her family emigrated to Australia in 1911.
